Field capture
OSP Navigator
- Log strand footage, splices and bores against the mapped features on the job, from the phone.

OSP Architect
- Build the job map from a library of aerial pathways, cable and other plant features.
- Lay out the design before the job goes to the field.
- Hand the same map to your crews in OSP Navigator and to your subs with each assignment.
Who uses it: Designers and project managers.
Inspection and export
OSP Sonar
- Compare the base design with the production entries crews logged.
- Open the photos on each entry to check the work before you pay for it.
- Export the entries and their photos for your records or your client.
Who uses it: QC inspectors and project managers checking the work.
Finance and bookkeeping
ORCA
- Keep the company books on a double-entry ledger, with accounts and transactions.
- Track invoices to clients, bills from vendors and subs, and the payments against each.
- Read receivables and payables statements, a trial balance, an income statement and a balance sheet.
Who uses it: Office managers, accounting staff and owners.
The assignment chain
A job moves from the network owner to the prime contractor to the subcontractor, one assignment at a time. Each company works the job in its own Dolphin OS account.

Network owner
Assigns the job to a prime contractor and sees the production and photos that come back.

Takes the assignment, puts its own crews on the job or assigns it on to a subcontractor.

Takes the assignment and puts its crews on the job, or assigns it on to its own subs.
Down the chain
- The assignment, with the job and its map
- An agreement on each assignment: purchase order lines at rate card codes, priced for the company that takes the work
- Each agreement stays between the two companies on it. Prices further down the chain stay private
Up the chain
- The crew completes the JSA before the work starts
- Production entries with geotagged photos on each mapped feature
- Daily and weekly production reports by crew and by job, valued at each company's own pricing
